Trout Fishing on the Guadalupe River

Crooked Antler's Annual Texas-Wisconsin Chapter trout fishing event was a complete success.  This year we were again lucky enough to have S&B Spinners as a sponsor.  Not only did they provide us with a complete line of spinners they had us try out some of their prototypes for their new line of spinners coming out next year.  The members who came along on the trip were Brian the C.A.S.C. president, Bruce the Wisconsin chapter president, Bob the Sargent at Arms, Drew the intern, and student Skeeter.
We came across a newly born fawn in the underbrush.  Momma came back for her in the evening.

Student Skeeter spent most of his time eyeing tubers in their bikinis.

Quite a few smallmouth and catfish were caught on the S&B Spinners as well.

Sargent At Arms Bob came across some gar spawning and even reeled in a 4 footer.

Some of the spinner prototypes provided by S&B Spinners.

Videos of the trip and some of the catches will be posted in the future, so make sure you check back with us and remember if there is water in it cast a line into it.
