MD FISHING

Well, the weather has finally broke and the MD Chapter of CASC is hitting the water in search of big fish.  I have finally gotten my first couple of bass at the lake by the house and the CASC MD VP and Master Guide have been fishing at an undisclosed river for some hybrid stripers and catfish.

CASC is also become the best dressed thanks to the Wisconsin President.

MD Trout

Before I get going on the trout, I want to take a moment and say congratulations to Crooked Antler SC Maryland member Brian and his wife Leslie for the birth of their first child, a girl.  She is happy and healthy and Mommy is doing great.  Crooked Antler SC is growing...

March 30th marked the first day of MD trout season.  I went with Dad this year and it was the first time I got to go out for opening day in a long time.  You couldn't start fishing until 5:30 but like the intelligent people that we are, we decided to get to the pond at around 4.  Good thing the we did because when we pulled up there were lights everywhere!  After a slow start, we had our limit by 6:45 and we were on the way home.
Matt, another Crooked Antler MD member, went out too and using spinners was able to snag 3 trout from an undisclosed creek.  (He dresses a little better than me)
